FeiMood Privacy Policy

Ziyi Feiyun ("we") takes your privacy seriously. This Privacy Policy explains how "FeiMood" (Chinese name 飞境, "the App") handles information while you use it.

1. Overview: We Do Not Collect Your Personal Data

FeiMood is a personal mood journal built around on-device storage. This App:

• Has no backend server of its own, creates no user accounts, and requires no registration or sign-in;
• Does not collect, store, analyze, or share any personally identifiable information, device identifiers, or usage behavior data;
• Contains no advertising and no third-party analytics or tracking SDKs.

Your data belongs to you and stays on your device.

2. Records Stay on Your Device

Everything you log in FeiMood (mood, note, time, and optional city and weather) is stored on your device via SwiftData. Deleting a record or uninstalling the App removes the data. The developer has no way to access it.

3. Location and Weather (Apple Weather)

When you log a mood, FeiMood may request your location for two purposes only:

1. Reverse-geocoding your current city name via the system;
2. Fetching current weather via Apple's WeatherKit (weather data provided by Apple Weather).

City and weather are saved only as part of that local record. We never upload them to a developer server, and we never share them with any third party.

Weather requests are handled by Apple under Apple's privacy policy. The developer cannot obtain your location through this.

You may deny location access. All core features still work; entries simply will not include city or weather. You can change this later in Settings → Privacy & Security → Location Services.

4. What We Do Not Do

• We will not ask you to create an account or provide your name, phone number, or email;
• We will not read your contacts, photos, or clipboard;
• We will not upload any data to our servers without your knowledge (we have no servers);
• We will not sell or share your information with any third party;
• We will not show ads.

5. Children's Privacy

This App collects no user data, and therefore collects no information from children. It is not designed specifically for children under 13.

6. Policy Updates

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The updated version will be posted on this page with a new "Last Updated" date. For material changes, we will provide an appropriate notice in the App.
