RowPause Support

Contact zyfly_app@qq.com. Include RowPause version, device model, iOS version, what you tried and the error message. Do not uninstall if you need data that has not been exported. Sending a message is your choice; the app does not automatically upload files.

• Import fails: Use an unencrypted, readable PDF of 1–200 pages, up to 20 MiB. Download cloud files first if the provider is unavailable. A failed replacement keeps your old pattern and counts.
• No selectable text: A scan may contain images only. Write a short note or use the system keyboard’s dictation. RowPause does not OCR or interpret instructions.
• Which row is shown? “Completed through row” is the last finished pattern row. “Next row” is the one to work next. “Mid-row?” marks an unfinished row without increasing the count.
• Repeats: Set the number of rows per repeat and the number completed before the repeat starts. This does not change the main count. There are no nested repeats or automatic shaping calculations.
• Return after browsing: In the project menu, choose Pin work position at the page and zoom you are working from. Browse other pages, then tap Return to work. This changes the reading position only. Pin again to replace it. A pin from an earlier PDF cannot be applied to a replacement PDF.
• Unpick rows: In the project menu, choose Unpick rows. Choose how many completed rows to remove from the current section, review the next-row preview, then confirm. This clears the unfinished-row marker and saves a before-change checkpoint. Other sections, auxiliary counts, notes and photos stay unchanged; recheck them after unpicking. Undo is available in the current workspace session.
• Progress seems wrong: Undo recent count changes in the same workspace session, or inspect checkpoints. Restoring a checkpoint keeps a before-restore copy of your current state. It does not replace your current PDF.
• Saving fails: The previous saved state is retained. Use the visible Retry action. For notes, keep the editor open until saving succeeds. Record the error before contacting support.
• Camera is unavailable: Choose a photo or leave a text note. You can enable camera permission later in iOS Settings.
• Practice project: The original three-page practice pattern uses 12 stitches and 24 rows of flat garter stitch. It has not been physically test-knit and promises no finished size. It is intended to demonstrate the app workflow.
• Moving devices: Export a complete .rowpause backup from Settings. On the new device restore it as new projects. Keep the whole package intact; do not rename internal files. Backups exported by build 2 use format version 2; build 2 can also import version 1 backups. Use build 2 or later to read a version 2 backup.
• Duplicate restored projects: Restore intentionally creates new copies. Check the preview before restoring the same package again.
• Library cannot open: Try again, or recover a known backup into a separate library. Original unreadable files are preserved. Do not uninstall while recovery is needed.

No login, subscription or purchase restoration is needed. Imported projects work offline. Cloud-provider downloads and saving to cloud drives can need a connection.

RowPause 1.0 supports English and Simplified Chinese on iOS / iPadOS 17 or later. There are no ads, subscriptions or in-app purchases.
